The Gaucho Regatta takes place on March 12th-13th, 2016 in Santa Barbara.  A UCSB campus and boating facility tour with team members and coaches is scheduled for Friday, March 11th (more info below).  Event documents can be found here as well as on the PCISA website.  Please click the links below for more information.

Charter Boats
A limited number of charter boats are available through the UCSB Sailing Program for $90 per day. To officially reserve a charter boat, please send a check made out to 'UCSB Sailing' to:

High School Sailing Recruits:  Campus & Boating Facility Tour - March 11, 2016 
Come meet members of the UCSB Sailing Team and receive a guided tour of campus from them.  Learn what it's like to be a Gaucho on and off the water from fellow sailors.  Meet the coaching staff and see the sailing facility.  EVENT INFO & REGISTRATION

Weather
March weather in Santa Barbara can be unpredictable and may be particularly windy and cold.  Please prepare accordingly with proper sailing gear and plan for the possibility of heavy winds.

Lodging

There are several hotels on Cabrillo Blvd.within walking distance of the regatta site. Early reservations are usually necessary. More affordable options are also available in Santa Barbara or Goleta within a 15 minute drive. UCSB & SBYC recommend that hotel reservations be made as far in advance as possible. Parking
Parking is restricted to certain areas.  Below is a map that shows where you can park your trailers, boats, and cars.  Please keep the roadways clear as other launch ramp visitors and the harbor patrol may be coming through at several points.  Additionally, please only launch using the middle and east most ramp.
